Adults Fellowship Commmittee

About Calvary Pandan Adult Fellowship (CPAF)

The CPAF meets on the third Saturday evening of every month at 6.30pm at the church’s 3rd level Sanctuary. Pastors, elders and qualified Christian speakers are invited to speak on contemporary issues and challenges pertaining to practical adult Christian living. Our programme also includes singspiration, bible quizzes, testimonies, book reviews, special items and sharing by various ministries and mission groups within the church. CPAF actively supports and participates in church sanctioned mission works. The meeting concludes with dinner and a time of Christian fellowship.

The CPAF seeks to encourage all like-minded brethrens to lead sanctified lives especially in these turbulent times. In these last of the Last Days, faithful service to our Lord, spreading God’s Word and fellowship with His people has never been so pressing.

You are invited to join us.

Our theme verse: Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. - Philippians 2:2

Objective:

to facilitate fellowship and brotherly love and concern among the adult members of the Church, as we strive together for:

1. the desire of the pure milk of God’s Word through which we can grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (1 Pet 2:2, 2 Pet 3:18)

2. the increase in our personal faith, hope and love (1Cor 13:13), and that we may fulfil our Lord’s Commandment to love one another as He loved us, by which all men shall know that we are His disciples, if we have love one to another. (John 13: 34 - 35)

3. the consideration of one another, to provoke unto love and to good works, exhorting one another as we see the day of our Lord approaching. (Heb 10:24 – 25)

4. the encouragement of each other to walk worthily of the Lord, seeking to please Him alone always in accordance with his will, even by a life of sacrifice, devotion and prayer. (John 4:34, 8:29, Luke 22:40 – 46, Rom 8:1, 4, 17 – 18, 35 – 39, 12:1 – 2, 2Tim 3:12)

5. the exercise of grace gifted to each one of us individually as members one of another, of the body of Christ, so that whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. (1Cor 12:12 – 27)

6. the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. (Eph 4:12 – 13)
