BLOOD IS NEEDED!

Blood is needed to save the dying. In time of war, disaster, or sickness there is no substitute for blood. In addition gamma globulin, which aids in preventing polio, is gotten from blood.

A time will come for each of us when all the blood in the world can no longer help. Blood cannot postpone death forever. Then we need the blood of Jesus Christ.

Man is spiritually dead. God requires that blood be shed to pay for sin. Countless animals were killed to try to make men right with God.

For it is the blood that maketh atonement for the soul. Leviticus 17:11

But all these animals were merely a type of Jesus. It is only His blood that really removed sin. He had to die to pay for sin. Read the ninth chapter of Hebrews.

By His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Hebrews 9:12

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many. Hebrews 9:28

The blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:7

Now that he has died, there is no need for any more sacrifices. There is nothing to buy or do-except to do the hardest thing for man: admit that he is a sinner, repent of his sins, and ask God to wash away his sins in the blood of Jesus Christ.

For it pleased the Father, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself. Colossians 1:19,20

What can wash away my sins?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
O, precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow
No other fount I know
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
